Neglect!

Oh no! I've been terrible neglectful of this blog... I've been terribly busy managing a vintage store, and figuring other great plans out! But I have plenty of new things to share, and will be much more diligent at updating this blog!

As some of you may know, I used to work for The Loved One and continue to support and love those magnificent ladies greatly!  A few months ago I got a chance to shoot with my dear friend Emily to romp around in few of their summer sets and pinafores in our natural Northwestern habitat. Below are the beautiful film photos Emily captured in North Bend AKA The Home Of Twin Peaks.  Pinafores and Bow Ties are from TLO, give em so love. They're really just the most darling gals!

I get terribly choked up thinking about how much I learned and what a gift I was given to work with these ladies. I've maintained my friendships with them and will always be there to support their dreaminess, and sniffle a little every once in awhile for missing them and sunny California.

I have plenty more to come,  and hope to be updating before the craziness of Halloween at Red Light Vintage hits!

On A Very Blustery Day

Hey Guys!

It's been a long time! I must apologize, I've been bouncing around getting used to the cold Seattle weather, and settling into a new position as Buyer at Red Light Vintage.

I did recently get the chance to shoot with my friend Jon Madison. We had a blast despite the blustery weather. His town has an eerily Twin Peaks feel to it. I'm going to try to be more on top of updating this blog!

P.S. you can view more of Jons work at: www.flickr.com/smartbrother

Long time no blog!

Sorry you guys! It's been crazy.. Catching up with old friends, and suddenly I find myself working 40 hours a week at Red Light Vintage. And now I'm desperately ill! I've been curling up drinking toddies, hopefully I'll get something real together for you soon. In the mean time, here's a photo a street fashion blogger snapped of me and my gentleman caller in Seattle about a week ago.

From Los Angeles to Seattle via Instagram

So I'm back in Seattle. Woo. It still hasn't really hit me yet, and I've already got a job and it's all just very crazy..  My best friend flew down to drive up with me which was lovely. We drove through Big Sur, and stayed the night in the east bay where we spent time with my Aunt and Uncle who are just the most wonderful people!

Whenever I'm with them we drink wine, eat and talk about things that actually expand my mind.  Then we travelled up to Portland where we stayed at the Jupiter Hotel and spent some time with friends of mine. That part was great too, until I lost my Canon 5D. I'm so upset, it contained all of the photos from my trip not to mention I love my Camera so much.

I've called the cab company, the bar and posted on craigslist, I've no idea what happened to it.  Alas such is life I suppose, I'm going to focus on trying to replace it.

It was super difficult to say goodbye to my boss who has been crazy generous and amazing to me, all in all I love Los Angeles and I love Seattle, and I'm home and it's going to be great. Here's my photo round up.

Cookies N Cream

This week has been crazy! I can't believe I more back to the land of all four seasons this Friday.  I am excited and nervous and a bunch of other stuff too.. I can't wait for the new adventure. And to be out of my horrendous current living situation..

And for sweaters like the one below from Pixie Market to be appropriate again!

Goodbyes and High Fives

First off all of these photos were shot by a really talented friend of mine, Kevin. Check out his work at www.kayven.com.

A lot of my friends here in Los Angeles live in the valley, and a very large group of them had a house they have been renting for years together. It's got a pool, it's got wood paneled walls, and it's got a ton of memories from myriad parties that have happened.

Last weekend they had the last party ever there, as everyone is moving out and onward, it was of course a little sentimental for me as I'm leaving too, it feels like there's a big shift in the earth happening now.  We danced drank, sang, were young and I love these folks so much.

Here are a few of the images Kevin captured:

A Very Personal Post About Leaving

As you know if you've been reading my blog I'm moving back to Seattle from Los Angeles.. This is a personal decision that for now needs to happen, and I am all torn up about it.

In my two years here I have had the pleasure of meeting some of the most amazing people and sharing equally amazing experiences with them.

It's been full of bad dates, good dates, heart break and growth.

Above and beyond that two very special people Hannah Metz and Elvia Lahman allowed me to be apart of the opening of their store The Loved One. I have learned so much and love both of them very much.  Below are a crap ton of photos from my last two years here.
